Request: Universal normaliser setting

Ok, so If I try to declip various songs from an album, each song is normalised a different amount. This results in the correlation between songs getting messed up. This is especially noticeable in mixed albums where tracks crossfade into each other.

An optional pre-set setting on how many DBs a track should be lowered would fix this.

Hi NightHawkFur,

Just one quick question to check, did you input a whole album into the de-limiter?

No, I have to do it track-by-track.
Otherwise it will fail with "Connection Errored Out."

I see, thanks for the confirmation. Currently, the output of the de-limiter is forcefully normalized to -14 LUFS, which will likely disrupt the smooth transition between songs, as you mentioned. The reason we normalize the output to -14 LUFS is that we do not know the exact scale of the de-limiter's output. Unfortunately, this is related to the de-limiter algorithm's design, and for now, it is inevitable. I think the current best practice for your case may be to re-balance each track after applying the de-limiter. For future versions, I will try to account for this issue. Sorry for not being very helpful. Thanks!
